A recent poll  indicates that three out of four Americans are experiencing financial stress due to high inflation. Inflation doesn’t look like it is going away for quite awhile. Whether you’re at the restaurant or the gas pump, everything costs more now — so how can you budget expenses during a time of high inflation?

We’ve got few strategies to help you combat inflation, starting with tips to help you save on monthly phone plans. Almost every article or analyst is stating to look at monthly recurring costs, and phone plans is always at the top of their list.  Phone plans and technology are inflation proof. Inflation proof meaning when inflation increases technology remains stagnate or decreases in cost.  If that is the case, then technology and phone plans may be an easy way of easing the pain caused by inflation.  As a business owner, you have to be willing to change your thought process on technology and phone plans.  Mainly, Verizon and AT&T may not be your best options to help reduce costs.  In particular, Verizon and AT&T have been increasing their voice rates while lowering their data rates.  It would be beneficial to look at alternative carrier or VOIP providers for your voice service to offset the increase in cost by Verizon and AT&T.  For your data needs those two companies tend to be more competitive and flexible on speed and pricing.  Cable companies would be another good option for your data needs.  Cable companies tend to give more bandwidth for less and work better with VOIP companies architecture.

The bottom line is there are better options out there from a service and cost perspective then just having all your services with Verizon or AT&T.  If you are with Verizon or AT&T for all your telecom services you probably are paying more and could see a significant savings by being flexible in your telecom approach.
